Create your first application
To get up and running on the Lumen® Application Delivery framework, get started by creating your first application.
To create your first application:
- On your main account dashboard, click Create application.
- Enter the name of your live website. Do not include the protocol (e.g., http or https).
The system tries to automatically determine the IP of your origin.
- Click Next.
- Click Performance, then click Varnish Cache v5.2 Basic.
- Click Next.
- Enter an account name. Think of this as the organization/company that your website belongs to.
- Click Next.
- Review the confirmation screen, then click Setup.
- Wait a moment while the system deploys your application delivery edge, then click I’ll explore first.
This process can take some time, do not click repeatedly as this can cause errors.
Your application delivery edge is now ready for traffic. The next step is to set up DNS.
