Deleting a contact (VVX 3xx/4xx series)
If you no longer need a contact in your directory, you can delete it to make scrolling through your contacts easier. You can also edit a contact rather than deleting it and add a new one.
Note: Your phone won't ask you to confirm that you want to delete a contact.
To delete a contact:
- Press the Home button.
- Use the right navigation key to highlight Directories, then press the Select button (in the center of the navigation keys).
- With Contact Directory highlighted, press the Select soft key.
- Use the up and down navigation keys to select and highlight the contact you want to delete.
- With the contact highlighted, press the Info soft key.
- Press the Delete soft key (you may need to press the More soft key to get to the Delete soft key).
- When prompted, press the Yes soft key to confirm you want to delete the contact. (Press the No soft key if you decide not to delete your contact.)
