Placing calls on hold and resuming held calls (VVX 3xx/4xx series)

Sometimes you'll need to put an active call on hold to locate someone or find information. As with any phone, you can place calls on hold on your VVX 3xx or VVX 4xx device.

Placing a call on hold

There are two ways to place a call on hold:

  • With a call in progress, press the Hold soft key (bottom of your screen) or the Hold button located to the left of your keypad.

Your caller is placed on hold and your line key blinks red.

  • With a call in progress, tap the Answer soft key.

Your caller is placed on hold. (This method is referred to as auto hold.)
