Removing a favorite designation from a contact (VVX 3xx/4xx series)
If you remove a contact's favorite designation, the contact no longer appears in your favorites list or on your display. However, the contact remains in your directory. Removing a contact's favorite designation is done differently if the contact is on your display, versus if the contact is only in your favorites list.
To remove a favorite desgination (if favorite appears on your display):
- Press and hold down the button for one of your favorites.
- Press the Delete soft key.
- When prompted, confirm you want to delete the favorite by pressing the Yes soft key.
To remove a favorite via the favorites list:
- Press the up navigation key to find the favorites list.
- Use the up and down navigation keys to locate your contact, then press the Info soft key.
- Press the Delete soft key.
- When prompted, confirm you want to delete the favorite by pressing the Yes soft key.
