Deleting a contact on your phone (VVX 50x/60x series)
If you no longer need a contact in your directory, you can delete it to make scrolling through your contacts easier. You can also edit a contact rather than deleting it and adding a new one.
Note: If you are deleting a contact, be sure it's what you really want to do before you tap Yes to confirm. After you tap Yes, the contact is deleted, there is no second confirmation.
To delete a contact:
- Tap the clock icon and tap the Directories soft key.
- Tap Contact Directory from the directories screen.
- Swipe the display up and down to locate the contact you want to delete.
- With the contact highlighted, press the i icon.
- Tap the trash can icon. (You may need to tap the More soft key to find it.)
- When prompted, confirm you want to delete the contact: tap Yes to delete or No to cancel.
- To exit, press the Home button.
