Removing a favorite designation from a contact on your phone (VVX 50x/60x series)
If you remove a contact's favorite designation, the contact no longer appears in your favorites list or on your display (if the index number was low). However, the contact stays in your directory. Removing a contact's favorite designation can be done using the contact's information or favorites list.
To remove a favorite designation using the contact's information:
- Press and hold down the gray silhouette for one of your favorites.
- Tap the trash can icon, which will only remove the favorite designation, it will not delete the contact from your directory.
- When prompted, confirm you want to delete the favorite:
- tap Yes to delete the contact as a favorite
- tap No to cancel deleting the contact as a favorite
- tap Yes to delete the contact as a favorite
To remove a favorite using the favorites list:
- Tap the clock icon in the upper corner of your display, then tap the Favorites soft key.
- Swipe the display up and down to locate your contact and tap the i icon.
- Tap the trash can icon, which only removes the favorite designation, but will not delete the contact from your directory.
- When prompted, confirm you want to delete the favorite:
- To delete the contact as a favorite, tap Yes.
- To cancel deleting the contact as a favorite, tap No.
- To delete the contact as a favorite, tap Yes.
