Setting a custom name for an enterprise ID
You can set a custom name for an enterprise ID in Lumen Connect to help you more easily identify enterprise IDs. For example, you can label an enterprise ID to denote a particular region, department, or holding company for your organization using the Lumen services on the enterprise ID.
To set a custom name for an enterprise ID:
- Using the left menu, click Admin, then click Enterprises.
Lumen Connect lists the enterprise IDs your user profile is assigned to. For each enterprise, Lumen Connect shows the enterprise ID, name, custom name (if any), customer number(s), and whether self registration is turned on or off, whether the enterprise ID is active, and when the enterprise ID was created.
- Do one of the following:
- If your username is assigned to only one enterprise ID, type the custom name in the Custom Name field.
- If your username is assigned to more than one enterprise ID, click the icon on the row for the enterprise, then type the custom name in the Custom Name field.
- If your username is assigned to only one enterprise ID, type the custom name in the Custom Name field.
