Changing the blocking level for Lumen Defender℠
For services protected by Lumen Defender℠ Powered by Black Lotus Labs®, you can use the Lumen Defender dashboard in Lumen Connect℠ to adjust the risk level so that Lumen Defender blocks only severe threats or blocks no threats.
Note: Changing the blocking level updates the risk level for all services using Lumen Defender℠.
To change the blocking level for Lumen Defender℠:
- Using the left menu, click Monitoring & Reports, then click Defender.
Lumen Connect shows the Lumen Defender dashboard with a list of all threats for the past 12 hours. At the top, Lumen Connect shows a summary of total threats by risk level, and the percentage change in those threats since the previous time period. Lumen Defender Essentials only shows severe, very high, and high threats.
- Click the Settings tab.
Lumen Connect shows the current blocking level and all services protected by Lumen Defender.
- Click the Change Global Blocking Rules button to select a blocking level, then click Save.
Lumen Connect saves your blocking level.
