Creating a threat notification
Threat notifications alert you to threat changes for services enabled with Lumen Defender℠ Powered by Black Lotus Labs®. Use the Lumen Defender Plus dashboard (available within Lumen Connect℠) to create notifications. You can also view a list of active and blocked threats for your organization’s protected services.
To create a threat notification:
- Using the left menu, click Monitoring & Reports, then click Defender.
Lumen Connect shows the Lumen Defender dashboard with a list of all threats for the past 12 hours. At the top, Lumen Connect shows a summary of total threats by risk level, and the percentage change in those threats since the previous time period. Lumen Defender Essentials only shows severe, very high, and high threats.
- Click the Notifications tab.
Lumen Connect shows a list of notifications.
- Click Create Notification.
- Fill in the notification information:
- Select a notification type.
- Select how you want the notification delivered.
- Select the risk level(s) to generate the notification for.
- Select the threat categories for the notification.
- Type a nickname that shows in the notifications list.
- Add users you want to receive the notification.
- Select a notification type.
- Click Save.
Lumen Connect saves the notification and adds it to the notifications list.
