Updating an API security key
You can update the details for an API security key, such as changing the person responsible for the key, updating the name for the key, updating the role for the key, or adding notes to the key. You can also create a new secret for an API security key. Use the API test tool in Media portal to test your changes. If you no longer need a security key, you can delete it.
To update an API security key:
- Sign in to Media portal. (Get help resetting your password)
- From the main menu, select Portal Admin > Vyvx API Security Keys.
Media portal lists the Vyvx API security keys for your organization.
- Click the key ID for the API security key you want to update.
Media portal shows the details for the API security key.
- Click Edit Key.
- Make any changes you need:
- To update the name of the key, type your changes in the Key Name field.
- To change the role for the key, select a different option from the Role list.
- To change the contact for the key, select another person from the Contact list.
- To add or edit notes for the key, update the Notes field.
- To update the name of the key, type your changes in the Key Name field.
- When you're done, click Save.
Media portal saves your changes.
