Blocking an ANI
If you want to block a number from calling your toll-free number, you can submit an order in Lumen Connect to block the ANI. Blocking the ANI deactivates it on the Lumen network. If needed later, you can submit an order to unblock the ANI.
Note: If you’re blocking a customer for non‑payment and they are no longer an active customer, we recommend you submit a disconnect order after you submit the block order.
To block an ANI:
- Using the left menu, click Orders, click Manage Orders, then click Block.
- From the Service Type list, select ANI.
- In the WTN field, type a ten‑digit ANI service ID, then click Lookup.
Lumen Connect creates the order form using the existing information for the ANI.
- Fill in the Customer Order ID field.
- If you have any additional information to add to the order, type it in the Comments field.
- Click Submit Request.
Lumen Connect submits your order to block the ANI.
