Removing DDoS Essentials from Internet On‑Demand
You can use Lumen Connect℠ to remove DDoS Essentials from an Internet On‑Demand service. Removing DDoS Essentials removes protection from the service. Adding it back later will include an additional one‑time charge.
You can also update the bandwidth. If the connection is no longer needed, you can disconnect it.
To remove DDoS Essentials:
- In the Services widget on the homepage, select Internet On-Demand from Find by Product or Service Tool.
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to update, then click Service Details.
Lumen Connect shows the Service Details page.
- Click Manage Service.
Lumen Connect shows the Manage Service page.
- Select Remove DDoS Essentials from the action menu.
Lumen Connect warns that the service will be unprotected and adding it again will incur a one‑time charge.
- Click Continue.
- Review the removal request, confirm the billing message, then click Confirm Removal.
