Disconnecting an Internet On‑Demand connection
Use Lumen Connect℠ to disconnect Lumen® Internet On‑Demand from Equinix, Digital Realty, or your customer port.
You may need to do this if you added a connection to Equinix or Digital Realty before establishing a data center fabric port and attaching it to your equipment.
Internet On-Demand disconnects immediately and billing stops once you confirm the disconnect.
Note: Disconnecting releases IP addresses. To avoid reconfiguring your router, you can change to a different bandwidth instead of disconnecting.
To disconnect an Internet On‑Demand connection:
- In the Services widget on the homepage, select Internet On-Demand from Find by Product or Service Tool.
- Disconnect your connection(s) by doing one of the following:
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to disconnect, then click Disconnect.
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to disconnect, click Service Details, then click Disconnect.
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to disconnect, then click Disconnect.
- Confirm the billing notice, then click Confirm Disconnect.
Lumen Connect disconnects Internet On-Demand. Contact your data center provider if you need to disconnect the fabric connection.
