Disconnecting an IP VPN On-Demand connection
If you no longer need a Lumen® IP VPN On‑Demand connection, you can disconnect it (and end billing for it) using Lumen Connect℠.
Note: If you're disconnecting a connection to AWS, be sure to disconnect any active virtual interfaces within the AWS portal before disconnecting in Lumen Connect.
To disconnect a connection:
- In the Services widget on the homepage, select IP VPN On-Demand from Find by Product or Service Tool.
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to disconnect, click Service Details, then click Disconnect.
- Confirm the billing notice, then click CONFIRM DISCONNECT.
Lumen Connect submits the disconnect request and changes its status to Pending Disconnect, but stops billing you for the connection immediately.
Once Lumen disconnects the connection, you'll see the connection status change from Pending Disconnect to Disconnected.
Note: Disconnect cloud service provider connections after disconnecting in Lumen Connect.
