Updating Fabric Connections bandwidth
Using Lumen Connect℠, you can change the bandwidth of an existing Lumen® Fabric Connections connection to fit your needs. The available bandwidths depend on your connection.
Each cloud service provider (CSP) has its own requirements for changing your connection bandwidth. Be sure you check with the CSP before updating the bandwidth in Lumen Connect.
Note: AWS does not support bandwidth updates on existing connections. You will need to add a new connection with the updated bandwidth, route your traffic to the new connection, then disconnect the old connection.
To update bandwidth:
- Using the left menu, click Services, then Manage Services.
Lumen Connect shows a list of all of your services.
- Select Hosted Cloud Fabric Connection and Virtual Point-to-Point Fabric Connection from the all products list.
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to update, then click Service Details.
Lumen Connect shows the Service Details page.
- Click the Actions button, then click Update Bandwidth.
- Select the new bandwidth, then click Save.
The new bandwidth takes effect upon successful provisioning.
