Disconnecting an Ethernet On-Demand connection
When you're done using a Lumen® Ethernet On‑Demand connection, you can disconnect it (and end billing for it) in Lumen Connect℠. If you need to use it again, you can clone it and create a new connection.
Note: If you're disconnecting a connection to AWS, be sure to disconnect any active virtual interfaces within the AWS portal before disconnecting the connection in Lumen Connect.
Remove Azure peering in the Azure portal before disconnecting a connection to Azure or Azure Gov.
To disconnect Ethernet On‑Demand:
- In the Services widget on the homepage, select Ethernet On-Demand from Find by Product or Service Tool.
- Disconnect your connection(s) by doing one of the following:
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to disconnect, then click Disconnect.
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to disconnect, click Service Details, then click Disconnect.
- Click the icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to disconnect, then click Disconnect.
- Confirm the billing notice, then click Confirm Disconnect.
Lumen Connect disconnects the service. You'll now see the service listed as Disconnected. If you need to set up the same service in the future, you can save time by cloning the connection.
Note: Disconnect cloud service provider connections after disconnecting in Lumen Connect.
